FAQ at our NEW Charlotte Location

Our Taproom in Charlotte is NOW OPEN!

On Saturday, April 13th, we opened our doors at our newest location at the Metropolitan in Charlotte along the Little Sugar Creek Greenway. We’ve enjoyed meeting all our new neighbors and friends and seeing our taproom and biergarten full of happy faces! Here are some questions we’ve been asked recently and thought it might serve our entire community to share the answers.

Q: Where exactly is Lost Worlds Charlotte?

A: The address is 1100 Metropolitan Avenue, Suite 210. We’re in the Metropolitan (same center as Trader Joe’s in the old West Elm Space). Our taproom faces the greenway, located along Midtown Row.  You can enter off Charlottetowne Ave. or on Midtown Row (signs are clearly marked throughout the property).

Q: What’s the best way to get there?

A: Honestly, all roads lead to Lost Worlds!

·      Car: we are off the Belk Fwy at the Kennelworth exit

·      Walk, Bike, scooter: we are off the Little Sugar Creek Greenway. Follow the Charlottetowne exit sign, and we’re just up the stairs

Q: Where do I park?

A: Metropolitan offers free parking to all guests. Street parking is reserved for handicap access, specific retailers, and short-term parking. Levels P1-P3 of the parking deck are exclusively reserved for Metropolitan visitors.

Q: Do you serve food?

A: Yes! We love our neighbors at Metropolitan and have partnered with Joan’s Deli and Bakery to bring you a custom pub menu. Just snap the QR on your table, order and pay, and the friendly staff at Joan’s will deliver direct to your table!

Q: Do you only serve Beer?

A: In addition to award-winning craft beer, we have a craft cocktail menu, full bar, international wine list, ciders, and seltzers. We also offer non-aldolic options.

Q: What are your hours of operation?

A: We’re open M-Th noon – 11; Friday/Saturday noon – midnight; Sunday noon – 10

Q: Are pets welcome?

A: Welcome? They are among our favorite guests! Dogs will be given their own water bowl on arrival and a treat made from our own spent grains. They are welcome in our biergarten and taproom, just not the private event space please. Our community partner, South Charlotte Dog Rescue, will be onsite the first Sunday of every month with a few dogs to adopt and information about adopting at these meet and greet sessions.
