Charlotte Taproom is NOW OPEN!
LOST WORLDS BREWING MARKS FOURTH YEAR IN BUSINESS WITH THE OPENING OF NEW TAPROOM IN CHARLOTTE AND A PARTNERSHIP WITH THE WINSTON-SALEM DASH AT TRUIST STADIUM
CHARLOTTE, NC, April 2, 2024 – Adventure-seekers can map their plans to enjoy Spring while exploring two new taprooms set to open within days of each other. The open-air taproom and terrace of Lost Worlds Brewing’s new location at Metropolitan in Midtown will open to the public on April 13th, while the newly constructed taproom located in Truist Stadium will begin pouring at The Dash home-opener on April 9th.
“Our aim has always been to inspire our guests to ‘Find Their Adventure,’ and we're poised to create unique outposts at locations where people enjoy spending time – whether that’s hiking the greenway or watching a baseball game," says Dave Hamme, founder of Lost Worlds Brewing. “Similar to how the Savannah Bananas challenge the way baseball is ‘supposed’ to be, we’re reimagining what it means to be a brewery and are laser focused on our guest experience.”
Charlotte Taproom
Guests can expect an immersive experience as historical and archaeological artifacts decorate the 4,000 square foot space in Midtown, pairing with the craft beer and the stories behind them. Lost Worlds transcends the traditional brewery experience, doubling as an entertainment venue and community nexus. Award-winning craft beer, a new craft cocktail menu, international wine list, and curated experiences like beer pairing dinners, historical walking tours, euchre tournaments, artisan markets, live music and more.
“Similar to our Cornelius location, the Charlotte taproom is grounded in partnerships – an important part of our ethos as we celebrate our fourth anniversary,” says Hamme. “We foster exclusive partnerships that are a win-win-win, for the non-profit, our community and the business alike.”
Lost Worlds established Charlotte Community Partnerships include:
· South Charlotte Dog Rescue, offering monthly meet and greet adoption events and a Pups and Pints event in the Fall.
· Peyton’s Promise, a non-profit organization within the Ace & TJ Radio Family located throughout the Southeast and Ace & TJ Show’s nationally syndicated audience.
· Pat’s Place Child Advocacy Center
· American Foreign Academic Research (AFAR)
“With its exceptional beverage selection and coveted space along the greenway, Lost Worlds Brewing is poised to become a magnet in Midtown,” said Lauren Britt, leasing manager at Northwood Retail. “Lost Worlds’ commitment to quality and community resonates deeply with our vision for Metropolitan, and we're excited to welcome them to the growing tenant mix in April.”

Winston-Salem Dash
Fans attending any of the sixty-six home games starting with opening day, April 9, can now enjoy Lost Worlds beer as part of their stadium visit. In partnership with the Winston-Salem Dash, a Lost Worlds branded taproom was constructed behind left field so fans can enjoy a biergarten experience while at the ballpark. Lost Worlds’ beer will also be served at concessions throughout the ballpark and private event spaces.
“We are excited to partner with Lost Worlds in bringing Dash fans even more beer options in Truist Stadium,” says Brian DeAngelis, president and general manager of The Dash. “The custom-built bar was made with both beer drinkers and families in mind. We look forward to many years of our new partnership.”
Lost Worlds Brewing was founded in April 2020 by Dave Hamme to create a basecamp for like-minded adventure seekers to plot their next adventures while enjoying craft beer brewed in their community. The Cornelius brewery and taproom produces craft beer for the new outpost in Charlotte located along the Little Sugar Creek Greenway in the Metropolitan, as well as the new taproom in partnership with the Winston-Salem Dash, a MiLB team affiliated with the Chicago White Sox. Lost Worlds Brewing is a member of the Brewer’s Association, the North Carolina Craft Brewing Guild and the Charlotte Independent Brewer’s Alliance.
