Carolina Big Hearts Big Barks Transitions to BHBB Foundation with a BBQ Fundraiser

As a dog-friendly brewery, it’s a natural fit to support a related cause and our partnership with BHBB has been one that we’re very proud of.  You’ve seen this organization at our seasonal markets and on the screen in our taproom, where we highlight large-breed dogs in need of adoption.

 “This has been a community partnership that Lost Worlds has enjoyed from the beginning and we’re excited to support them in their next phase,” says Lost Worlds Founder, Dave Hamme.

This organization has filled a gap in the community and now, will broaden their support as they transition to Foundation status, helping other like-minded organizations in need through their fundraising efforts.

“I believe we can continue to do our best work by expanding our footprint and supporting other non profit organizations that need assistance with fundraising for medical cases, funding spay neuter programs and other important missions that help save more dogs,” says Suzy Blocker, founder of the organization.

 BBQ Cook-off Kicks off New Name and Mission

On July 16th, all are welcome to enter and/or participate in a BBQ contest to be held at Lost Worlds from 11pm to 2pm. Do YOU have the best BBQ? (think pulled pork, wings, brisket). For a $25 entry fee submit your best BBQ and enter to win. Judging will be based on customers choice! Each customer tasting BBQ will pay $10 for tasting each BBQ dish and submit their votes for the BEST!

All Proceeds to BHBB Foundation- benefiting DARLINGTON COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER SPAY/NEUTER PROGRAM
