Lost Worlds Brewing and the Raptor Center today announce a new community partnership, connecting the one-year-old Lake Norman brewery to the Center’s mission to ignite imaginations and inspire engagement in the natural world through the exploration and rehabilitation of birds of prey.

“The Lost Worlds brand is all about getting outside, exploring and engaging in your surroundings,” says Dave Hamme, co-founder of Lost Worlds. “We’ll support the Raptor Centnter by hosting fundraisers, promoting their news and events in our brewery and partnering by doing what we know best – collaborating on a custom beer in the near future.”

In turn, Raptor Center guests will soon be able to enjoy Lost Words beer when attending events at the new Quest at Latta Nature Preserve.

“We are very excited to partner with Lost Worlds this year,” said Jim Warren, Executive Director of The Raptor Center and beer afficionado. “This kind of community partnership aligns with our environmental, outdoor-focused brand and provides another reason for folks to visit the Raptor Center – great craft beer!”

To celebrate this new partnership, Estrella, a Spectacled Owl native to Costa Rica, will be the guest of honor in the Biergarten on Sunday, April 25th at noon. Flights of the brewery’s award-winning beer will be soaring all day for $8.
