When the temps dip and the leaves turn, you know it’s pumpkin time! Here’s a our take and the story behind Squanto’s Spiced Pumpkin Ale

1620 – The Pilgrims arrive at Plymouth Rock. Over the following year, most of them perish from starvation and exposure. Fortunately, Squanto (aka Tisquantum), the sole survivor of the Patuxet Tribe arrives at their settlement. Fluent in English from a period of servitude in England, Squanto introduces the Pilgrims to the local Native Americans who teach them much needed survival skills. Squantos is a seasonal brew that delivers the flavors of pumpkin pie.

 The Discovery

Squanto’s Spiced Pumpkin Ale is pumpkin pie in a glass. Infusing pure pumpkin puree as well as the traditional spices of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and allspice into the mash births this autumn favorite. Our version comes with a bit of a twist as we utilize a Kveik yeast strain that yields a hint of sweet honey. Medium bodied with a nice orange/amber pumpkin color, Squanto’s Spiced Pumpkin Ale is sure to delight your fall palate.
